After graduating with a degree in foundational philosophy, Gander apprenticed in a boutique architecture firm before launching his design collection in 2017. In 2018, he was an NYCxDesign Emerging Designer of the Year honoree and exhibited at Salone in Milan and Design Miami. In 2018 he was also an honoree of Sight Unseen’s American Design Hot List and named one of Interior Design Magazine’s 15 Rising Stars of Design. In 2019, he was exhibited at Design Miami, PAD London, and Saatchi Gallery - Masterpiece London. In 2020, his work was exhibited at Design Museum Gent and at Objective Collection in Shanghai. Gander’s work has been featured in most major design outlets including Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Digest, Luxe Magazine, Metropolis Magazine, Surface, Cultured, and Ideat China. It ranges across mediums and scales.
