Anzolo Fuga was the master stained glass maker on the island of Murano. He utilized fragments of hand-blown glass in his windows to give them depth and richness. He utilized his extraordinary artistic skills to make unique glass art objects for Arte Vetraria Muranese (AVEM) from 1955 to 1968. Working with the master glass blower Luciano Ferro, Fuga created visually stunning pieces. Some quite large, like this one, with extremely delicate features. Fuga experimented with various techniques during his years at AVEM. His works are spectacular and rare.
